article/site review

Trey Ratcliff’s website Stuck in Customs is a photoblog with some amazing photography.  He specializes in HDR and even demonstrates HDR in black and white.  He travels the world and has photographed everything from Houston to Hong Kong.  Ratcliff teaches HDR workshop but they aren’t cheap.  One of his sold out workshops called for $999 a person.  Not only did it sell out but he is so popular that when tickets went on sale the bombardment of people trying to access it crashed his server for 45 minutes and then the tickets were sold out in 11 minutes.

He recently finished a book “The World in HDR” a 216 pages of select pieces from his portfolio and is leaving on a book tour soon.

Topaz Adjust Review

Ratcliff has high remarks about this photoshop plug-in.  He said “…it is a very simple, elegant, and easy to use product that allows you to achieve HDR-like results from a single image.”  Since Ratcliff gave this product a positive review the guys at Topaz is giving his readers a Topaz Coupon for 10% off.

He then provides some photos he has use the product on and a mini tutorial on how he achieved one of the final images he’s shown.
