Article Review – Mitchell Warren – Empire State Building Photos

This article looks at photography of the Empire State Building.

It focuses on the work by Adam Stoltman, a photojournalist.  The article is tiny and basically describes what Stoltman has done.

Over time, Stoltman has taken many pictures of the building, many from a window of his residence.  He describes the scene as having “almost an infinite capacity for visual wonder.”

Although the article is short, I think the photos can speak to us as photographers.  Mainly, that many different aspects must be taken into consideration when taking a photo.  These aspects include lighting, angle, composition and the time of day.  We all know that any of these aspects (and many more) can change our photographs in any number of ways.

The article is pretty much a skip, but check out the photographs.

p.s. – the photo link is next to the photo caption (it took me forever to locate)
